This world is a fascinating place, offering up a mixed bag of all kinds of people from different levels of society, ethnicities, races, etc. And as much as we try to keep our lives filled with only the good people, we cannot completely stay without encountering a few of these bad apples in our lives.

We all know from personal experience that not everyone we meet is going to be honest. And we often end up placing our trust on the wrong person. On the other hand, all of us are guilty of judging a person one first glance by the way they look, speak or act. It is human nature. But the saying ‘never judge a book by its cover’ has never been truer than in today’s society.

YouTuber Johal decided to carry out a social experiment to test out how honest people are. He approached strangers, having disguised himself as a blind person, holding out a lottery ticket with numbers that indicated he had won 500 dollars and asked them to let them know if he had won anything. He carries this experiment out in two different neighbourhoods in the city, one a ‘wealthy’ area and the other a ‘poor’ area.
